Days Tour Program

Day 01

Arrive Kolkatta

On arrival at kilkatta railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in kolkatta.

Day 02


Morning sightseeing tour visiting Indian Museum housing a brilliant collection of Buddhist and Gupta art ; Victoria Memorial Museum an imposing white marble construction displaying paintings of the British Raj ; Fort William and Eden Gardens. Later transfer to rail-station to board train (around 6 PM) to Puri .

Day 03


Arriving Puri in early morning. Morning visit Jagannath Temple. The renowned Jagannath temple built in the 15th century AD and crowned with Vishnu's wheel and flag dominate the landscape at Puri. The temple with its elaborate carvings and mouldings are very fine examples of Orissa architecture. Overnight in Puri.

Day 04

Puri - Konark

Morning visit the Jagannath Temple again. Later drive to Kornark (56 kms / 1 ½ hrs) to see the famous Sun Temple. Also known as Black Pagoda, standing in solitary splendor amongst the sand dunes, the temple is most striking example of Kalinga architecture. At this spot on our planet the solar eclipse took place in 1980, to the utter amazement of modern astronomers and scientists. Later transfer to rail-station to board train to Bhubneswar.

Day 05

Konark - Bhubneshwar

Bhubneswar, the capital of Orissa , which takes its name from one of the titles of Lord Shiva, Bhuvaneshwar the Lord of creation. Afternoon city tour visiting the great temples of Lord Shiva the Lingraj Temple, Tribhuvaneshwar Temple, Parusurameshwara Temple, Bindusagar and Raja Rani Temple. Late evening transfer to rail-station to board train to Calcutta.

Day 06

Bhubneshwar - Kolkatta (Calcutta)

Arrive Kolkatta in the morning and transfer to hotel. Morning relax/shopping , afternoon transfer to railway station to connect train for Kolkata. Overnight at hotel/Transfer to airport for flight home.

Day 07


Transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey. End of our services.
